ABOUT US:
Tuggeranong Vikings Badminton Club is one of the oldest and well-attended badminton clubs in the ACT. We are a community club of experienced players, and play socially on a Wednesday night.
With approximately 45 full-fee members and places for several experienced casual players, there are always well balanced games with players of different styles on the scheduled club nights, where the club has exclusive use of all six badminton courts at the well insulated Erindale Active Leisure Centre on one of the best playing surfaces in the ACT and where competition graded feather shuttles are used generously.
TVBC is represented by a very strong and healthy committee, with a number of long-serving members acting in key roles. The key focus of the committee is to ensure the continued growth and health of the club overall and to make the club a welcoming and enjoyable place to come and play badminton in Canberra .
HOW DO I JOIN TVBC?
The club currently has a full membership, however experienced players are encouraged to contact the club and play as a casual on one of our nights to get a feel for the level of play. Players that are a good match for the club are then encouraged to put their names on our membership waiting list and can join when a membership becomes available.
Experienced players who would like to play as a casual are encouraged to contact our Secretary , Indu Sealey to ensure a casual placement for the night. Once the place has been allocated and the $12 casual fee paid electronically, the player will have a guaranteed place for the session.
