About Us: Tuggeranong Vikings Badminton Club is one of the oldest and well-attended badminton clubs in the ACT. We are a community club of experienced players, who play socially on a Wednesday night. With approximately 45 members and limited spots for experienced casual players, there are always well-balanced games with players of different styles. The club has exclusive use of all six badminton courts at the Erindale Active Leisure Centre, playing on one of the best court surfaces in the ACT, and using only competition graded feather shuttles.
TVBC is represented by a strong committee, with a number of long-serving members acting in key roles. The key focus of the committee is to ensure the continued growth and health of the club overall and to make the club a welcoming and enjoyable place to come and play badminton in Canberra.
How Do I Join TVBC?
The club currently has a full membership; however experienced players are encouraged to contact the club and play as a casual. Casual players who would like to become members must put their name on the membership wait list. When a spot becomes available, the club will contact you for a trial period. Players that are a good match for the club will then be able to join.
