This is the first Shuttle Time course offered in Canberra (ACT) this year and we had 10 enthusiastic participants who attended. The majority consisted of badminton players, some having previous coaching experience and badminton training history.

The course structure was based on the Shuttle Time Teachers Reduced Course recommendations with the addition of having the attendees divided into two groups, each group presenting two lesson from the Shuttle Time App. The App is easy to use and the participants had no problems demonstrating the activities and teaching badminton to each other. The participants were keen to share their knowledge and ideas, and demonstrated their understanding of the Shuttle Time program through the completion of their final assessment.
As this is the first time that I (Stephen Huynh) have offered the blended course and using only the Shuttle Time App as the teaching material, I found that the app made teaching easier and I was able to quickly refer to sections of the manuals with ease, it was certainly a delight not having the need to prepare physical manuals and additional resources for the videos. I highly recommend using the app as the primary teaching resource where possible.
Overall the participants had a productive and wonderful time, and showed that they were ready to teach Shuttle Time to the world!
