Gungahlin Badminton Club

The club is closed for new memberships and those interested will be placed on a waitlist in the event of future vacancies in 2022.

We only allow visitors on Thursday session at Amaroo school.

Following the ACT Government's decision to severely limit community access to public schools in 2022 due to COVID19 'cleaning issues', the Gungahlin Badminton Club (GBC) now has a more limited session time at Amaroo School and was only able to open a new session at the smaller, six-court, venue at Gungahlin College. There is a dire lack of suitable and available facilities in which to play badminton in the ACT, particularly the fast-growing Gungahlin region

Given the size of the club membership in 2021, it has been decided to only offer membership in 2022 to the first sixty of the 2021 members that apply to remain members in 2022 (2021 members have been advised by direct email). The club is thus closed for new memberships and casuals. If this situation changes another Notice will be placed here.
I would suggest that people interested in playing badminton in Canberra lobby your local politicians for more indoor sports centres (as Badminton ACT is doing).
