The 2021 AGM preceded the inaugural Annual Gala Dinner & Awards Night at the Hellenic Club on 4 December 2021. The key items being the revised Constitutions and 2021-24 Strategic Plan were approved at the meeting. The Executive Committee of 2020 largely remained in place, other than Sheehan Lim taking on the role of Secretary and Brideen Allen as Match Secretary. BACT’s first, hopefully of many more, Annual Gala Dinner and Awards Night was held at the Hellenic Club on 4 December 2021. It was very well attended, with over 80 people representing 10 BACT clubs. A number of BACT and Club awards were provided. It was an enjoyable way to end what was a difficult year, with many clubs still not being able to resume their club sessions following the end of the ACT’s lockdown due to public school cleaning issues.
Southside Badminton will return to play from Tuesday 2 November 2021.
Players must be current financial members of Southside Badminton Club. This will be revised prior to the 2022 calendar year, and is dependent on ACT Government per person capacity rules, advice from our venue owners regarding hall capacity, and on the number of members who have returned to play for the remainder of 2021.

Badminton ACT, however, plans on hosting this popular event again in 2022.
